Do you sort range brass for pistol by headset stamp.

"Roll sized you say".....I had the unsupported, (I thought Logical") opinion that roll sizing required mass production/commercial equipment. I wanna know about it.
Please educate me, time allowing. :)

It's the one I used. The dies made by Lee and Redding are what I would describe as a universal small base die that squeezed the case head back to proper dimensions. Beside making sure your range brass was going to cycle in your chamber it kept your 38 Super brass cycling too when we were shooting high pressure loads to make major power factor.

Hmmm never seen that setup before.... Looks interesting....

I sort but for a different reason, only shooting revolvers and certain 9mm will/will not fit properly in my moon-clips. I found that for the Smith 9mm moon-clips Federal or Remington brass works best so I sort them out and sell or recycle the rest.
BTW if your getting "wasp waist" 9mm brass try backing out your resizing die till it goes away. Some dies resize way too much.

Seen a lot of Internet talk about how these cases may be unsafe and I have chose to never deal with the Glock bulge cases. I may be leaving some extra brass behind I just don't feel like dealing with it.
This is primarily an issue with 40 cal Glocks. Gen 2's would bulge cases quite badly. The newer ones are not as bad. Other brands may bulge 40 brass as well.

As the owner of 7 or so Gen 4 Glocks I can tell you that I have not observed the issue on 9mm or 45 ACP.

I clean and sort by headstamp over 1,000,000 9mm cases a year.

Hey lefty I was always told 9mm should be wasp waisted... I used to back the die out also but went back to the slight wasp waisted brass... There's several pistol concerning this subject.... Not actually sure it makes any difference , I think it had something to do with neck tension , but could be wrong about that..... Would be interested in if it matters either way.... I haven't noticed any difference in brass life....
