TSA 9mm Brass Issue

I’ve had some of that MaxxTech 9mm. It goes straight to recycle. I don’t know what that ring is for, perhaps for “the glock bulge”?

The only thing I can think of as of right now, is it keeps the bullet from sinking in further in semi-autos. Sometimes the bullet will get pushed in, and create a huge pressure problem? Hmmm

Inquiring minds wish to know. How much do the cases weigh and what is the case weight variation?

Here is the weight difference. Here is a unprocessed FC, the highest of 5 cases. The one on the right is the TSA processed and primed, and its the lowest of the 5. The TSA is a NEW primer, and the FC is a spent primer.
