No because if you are here you have a PC and you can find manufacturers load data just like anyone else.....if you're not too lazy to do so.Why or why not?

That is a perfect example of the old saying - "you can't fix stupid"!And therein lies the problem.
Never mind scales that are close or can be read properly, and thousands of other things.
In the 70's I gave a friend a load for 44 Mag. It was 2400. He substituted Unique as that's what he had on hand. Believe it was a Ruger SuperBlackhawk. Locked up solid which did not stop him from freeing it up with a hammer. AND shot it again! Locking it up solid. I guess it's a testament to Ruger's strength..
It was the last time I ever suggested a load.
I agree with this. My issue was I have an obsolete chambering, 225 win., and wanted to try VihtaVuori powder but couldn't find any published data. As Homerange suggests to no be lazy, I used my pc to send an email to VihtaVuori requesting data. I got a phone call about 8 weeks later. Those cats over there took the time to do the testing and get me the data! In the meantime I just kept using IMR 4064 and stayed safe by not "experimenting with unknowns". I now use N-140 with great results and enjoy how the smaller kernels go down my funnel so much better. My hat's of to the folks a VihtaVuori for catering to my personal needs with an obsolete chambering. Hat's of to me for being patient, safe, and not lazy!No because if you are here you have a PC and you can find manufacturers load data just like anyone else.....if you're not too lazy to do so.
Some people are to stupid or stubborn to reload safely. I get the impression at least in hunting sections of the website that most of the reloaders are trying to get the max load they can get without stuck bolts or blown primers. Like the guy that FL resizes rounds after the bullet is seated. If one went off in the die you would probably have 80,000 PSI + blowing the die in your face. Why or why not?
Yes! However it did teach me not to try and join the club. That is a perfect example of the old saying - "you can't fix stupid"!

Yes, I agree 100%. I always thought matches were won by accuracy. Never knew it was a drag race. Some people are to stupid or stubborn to reload safely. If your new to reloading you should buy a popular well known caliber so there is plenty of data published by powder and bullet manufacturers. Get experience reloading well known calibers. Never could understand why some people want to invent a new wildcat and then they don't know what powder and weight is OK. Most wildcats are not much better than well known calibers.I try very hard not to.... In the case were i do I tell people , don't use data off the internet not even mine.... There's plenty of published data out there for free plus if you're reloading and don't have at least three reloading manuals there's a problem... Your on the internet when you ask so pop over to the powder manufacturers page and look at their data....
Sorry but this is not good advice to be giving out.... Especially since we have new members joining daily that are new to Reloading and Shooting.... Reloading manuals are a reference yes , but I have seen middle of the road data be as fast as factory ammo.... The data that's published will always be on the side of their lawyers , plus it's not recorded were your shooting at....I am experienced reloader too. And I have to say...I dont start at low and work up. I load soooo much higher than hodgdon and Berger manuals, its silly. WAY more. And its not the brass. And guess what? Thousands of people all over ignore book max, as pure propaganda. Most shooting hi Power for example, is over book and have been for decades. Saami is a standard, its NOT a line that says "Go past this its dangerous" that is a myth.
Thank you for video. Brass matters alot like the guy said. People think they are loading to book max, and are actually over or under as much as ~1 grain because of the brass (extreme).
Hi Power Loads
lots of loads there over book. How are they still alive? Its not about working up at all. Its about not buying into propaganda and just using whatever load is accurate.
I'll see loads some people post and claimed velocities, some as much as 400 fps faster than mine w/ 1gr difference in powder, and wonder, "how the hell are you getting that?"Yes, I agree 100%. I always thought matches were won by accuracy. Never knew it was a drag race.
