Dimensions for a Rem-Age tennon

So obviously for an action not in hand fit them all barrel the dimensions need to be on the big side. What is/are the common numbers for counterbore depth and go gauge protrusion?

Dang I would have thought the bolt face depth and counterbore would be more consistent then that.

I’ve never turned a Remage tenon so forgive my inexperienced inquisitiveness, but wouldn’t the length be the .883” (found on some drawings, I have no clue if that’s “standard” or not) plus the thread length of the barrel nut plus the thread length needed on the tenon before seating the nut?

1.021 generally works for pitch diameter. You can use 1.018. This much looseness won't hurt anything. IIRC, it is still inside 3A thread spec.

I would make counterbore depth and go gauge protrusion specific to the bolt of the action. But this is one (of several) reasons I'm not a remage fan.

I’ve seen go gauge protrusion of +0.001”, 0.000”, and -0.001” for the last 15 or so RR prefix actions I’ve fit. Can’t remember the counterbore depth right off the top of my head, but they were all within that .003” range too, plenty tight enough for a remage setup.
