New member here from NC. I have a set of Frankfort Arsenal 750 scales that don't seem to be as accurate as they once were. I was wondering if there is anything more accurate for $50 or less. What kind are you guys using in that price range? Thanks.

Do what I did. Buy three different beam scales and three different cheap digital scales and a Chargemaster Lite. Then bang your head against the wall real hard for a couple years. Then buy an FX120 and stop banging. Mike

For pretty good reasons, you will get a lot of negative responses about cheap scales. There was a recent thread about this little unit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ESHDGOI/?tag=accuratescom-20 . I found it interesting enough to buy one to play with. I've found it to be surprisingly repeatable with my homemade check weights. Lot's of good info inn that other thread if you can find it.
Yes, I have a Lee auto drum and auto disk that I use the scales to check.Another vote against cheap electronic scales. I mostly use mid-level RCBS stuff and have found it to be very repeatable (Chargemaster 1500 and Rangemaster 2000). What kind of reloading are you doing with it? If you're just checking charge weights for a powder measure or shotshell bushing I'd recommend a good beam scale. Most powder measures are only accurate to 0.1 grains on a good day so there's not much point in having a scale accurate to .02. Precision rifle stuff is a different story.
Funny, but I can join that club too. There is nothing more frustrating than scales you can’t trust!Do what I did.
