Differences between large rifle primers?

What are the differences between Winchester large rifle primers #8 1/2, CCI large rifle primers #200 , and Federal Gold Medal Match large rifle primers #210M?

I understand that match primers are subject to higher QC standards. Other than that, what are the differences in those three brands of primers?

Thanks

Just have to try different ones. Rem 9.5's have always been good to me and cci has always been terrible. Fed 210's are good, wlr's have always flattened easily. This is just my experience.

The only significant difference is that one of them will shoot better with your load, firing pin striking, and seating standard, than the others..
Nobody can predict this, and 'match' matches nothing.

Exactly what my tests have proven over the years.
Work up your load, with your primer of preference, but keep an open mind as to which primer may end up being ''Best in class".

IMHO, mikecr hit the nail on the head. In my own testing that I've done with primers, I found that CCI and Federal Primers give me the most consistent results, while Winchester, not so much. Winchesters are great for hunting and plinking. But I won't use them for testing, load development or accuracy shooting. Just my .02 worth.

Finally, someone agrees with my opinion on rifle primers! I can't seem to budge my buddy on this. He refuses to try any other primer than CCI. I have found that on some loads, CCI works best, but some others, another brand. I try all of them when doing load workups.

What we need is standard process for testing of primers in combination with our load conditions.
As it stands, left to an abstract, how could we know that one primer is actually better for us than others tried? What would the measure of 'better' be?
We have not standardized primer seating or striking either...

There is a long way to go here, with a lot of potentials(great and horrible).
