Die rings

Hello
Long time fan of the forum and my first post. Been reloading forever and I have usually have used Dillon or Lee die rings. Now using Redding and Hornady rings. When securing the ring I can't seem to place the secure lock (allen bolt) at an advantegeous position where I can easily secure. It ends up behind the die or opposite side exposed to me. I am using a T7 so my dies are set up and hard to get in there to adjust a ring. Any tricks?

thanks guys. Is there anyway to assure the allen head is facing forward? if it ends up in the back no long allen will reach
Shims are the only way to ensure the rings lock up exactly (or very close) where you want them to. .035” shim will be very close to changing the lock ring position by 180°.
