Except that wouldn't be a good thing for CoAx users. If Redding would come out with in between sizes on their competition shellholder sets, I would rather spend my money there.

Yes Sir, I was a little out of line putting that in a CoAx thread.Except that wouldn't be a good thing for CoAx users.
I think that I will stick with the cheaper, standard Forster lock rings.Forster just announced a new die lock ring marked in .001 increments that can be used with any standard 7/8 x 14tpi die - $14.

The only problem I can see, as far as making critical adjustments go, is, what do you reference on the die body against the graduations on the die holder?Check out these new lock rings for the CO-AX. They allow you to make adjustments while the die is inserted. The rings also use up all of the flat bearing surface of the press to keep the die as straight as possible.

That’s my deal on my O frame presses. I loosen the lock ring off then adjust the full length die down a little and then reset the lock ring tight, I just don’t see the usefulness of the marked lock rings. The only problem I can see, as far as making critical adjustments go, is, what do you reference on the die body against the graduations on the die holder?

I use micrometer dies so I don't need them, just sharing info for those who might find them beneficial.I think that I will stick with the cheaper, standard Forster lock rings.

I use micrometer dies when I can. New purchases generally default to them.I use micrometer dies so I don't need them, just sharing info for those who might find them beneficial.
