Did I choose the wrong caliber when I bought the Tikka T3x super varmint 22-250?

I wanted to buy the MDA XRS chassis. Then I am told that no matter what magazine I purchase for it. It will not feed the 22-250 round reliably. May only feed one or two then it jams. I'm told it is the ammo not the gun, not the mag but it is the caliber 22-250 that is the problem. Is it a forgotten an lost caliber now. That there are no magazines manufactured anymore to feed this round?
Does anyone know how or from who I can buy a magazine that will feed this ammo up the ramp and into the chamber, every time.
I am not a gun smith and I do not want to pay one to notch the feed ramp. Someone said.
I have always single loaded at the range and GH hunting for 50 years. Some ranges require it. Don't need a fast followup shot GH hunting.
