I still have a problem with the DROP-PORT not working exactly as it is supposed to. The brass hangs on to the bolt on the release stroke where it is supposed to drop down the exit port. (DEFIANCE problem)
John King did the metal work for me, using a PT&G reamer with a .269 nk.. Wanted to accomodate the new Lapua thinner necked brass.
Hopefully I will get the stock back from the painter and the bolt/drop-port issue will be fixed by then. I am really looking forward to shooting this action.
Leo Anderson did the inletting and bedding for my PR&T 'low-boy' stock. The stock will be finished with a 'Decelerator' pad and a GRACO reducer.
I will post more as the project advances..

They were also very helpful to me. there were some things i didnt like about the action but thats just my opinion. I kinda think the price is a little high, but who am i to say!! I like my Borden action. the price is fair the fit and finish is better, and there are not extra trigger hangers. The timing is already properly built in to the action, so no need for me to change out hangers hoping i get the right one installed. Jim also checks every one of his actions for firing pin drag. Most shooters dont even think about things such as this, but it is a big deal! Theres no doubt Glen knows how to build a nice action, i just personally think jims is better. Thats all!!
