Well, so much for cheap cameras. This thing is so slow I have a couple dozen pictures of nothing. Heck I drove by it and turned around and it only took my picture as I walked up. It would require a feed pile to get any pictures which I can’t do within 200 yards of any stand.
I had a cheap camera similar to yours, only it was too sensitive, that year I had more pictures of the grass and trees moving around because of the wind blowing instead of deer. Absolutely frustrating to go out to check your pictures and see nothing of substance. The worst pictures were of the corp of engineer's bulldozer and pick up trucks when they rolled past by my feeder on the way to clear out trees along the dam for the reservoir I hunt by 3 weeks before general season started.View attachment 1125988

Your my hero Barlow. At 72 years young still using a summit climber. Way to go !!! Keep doing what your doing. That's unbelievable to me. Climbers aren't a senior citizens game in most cases. Obviously you are in very good shape at 72. I guess using a climber enough will keep you there. Keep it upI have an elevated box blind that I built on my property at least 10 years ago. I have shot 2 deer out of it. When I built it my wife asked why I was building it. I said it's my old guy deer stand that I'll use when I am no longer able to hunt the way I always have. I just turned 72 in August. I hunt Michigan and Wisconsin. I still hunt, make drives, use my Summit climbing stand, take a daypack and hunt all day and use no bait. My cousin and hunting buddy are starting our 60th year of hunting together. The areas we hunt we rarely see another hunter especially after opening weekend. We don't always kill deer but we have a hell of a good time. Barlow
Gorgeous buck
Always wanted to hunt Wisconsin. I hunt the UP during rifle season. Hunter numbers are low even tho the deer numbers are too. Just rather not see hunters. One day I'll make it to Wisconsin on a rut hunt. How cold does it get in Mo.? For all of my teenage and adult life until two years ago I cut and split (what needed splitting) 12-13 firewood cords of mostly hard maple with a splitting axe. I used a hydraulic splitter one day about 40 years ago, but decided they were too much work. Now I cut about 3 cord to burn in the fireplace. Barlow
My wife needs to see this.View attachment 1127092
I’ve been waiting for cooler weather and took on a boat ramp that I’ve always wanted and needed. Now work is pouring in because it’s hunting season. Lol Going to mow my clover tomorrow afternoon before a big rain weekend! Life is good but I’m really sore after this. Lol
