10mm is awesome. Its so versatile. You can load lighter weight bullets and loads that shoot like a 9mm, medium loads for more power like a 40cal and heavy dangerous game load for bear stopping power.. LOVE MINE!I like hearing that. It’s the next pistol on my wish list.

You don't have to carry full super power loads or the junk loads slowed down to .40s&w speeds... You pretty much need to reload for 10mm in my opinion but there's some great factory out there.... A 180xtp Hornady bullet at about 1160-1170fps is pretty darn good for a mediumish load.... If you shoot something other than a huge animal with it and it doesn't kill it RUN...I like hearing that. I don’t run very well any more. That’s why I want one.You don't have to carry full super power loads or the junk loads slowed down to .40s&w speeds... Just like 10mm always has you will see some wear with stout loads but hey it only takes one... It is crazy accurate as a caliber.... Then gen 4 Glock 20 comes with 3 fifteen round mags and I promise you if you can't get it done with one keep the other two and once again RUN.... My wife has shot it and even she said well that's not bad at all..... I ran some 180gr blazer brass across my crono and the numbers were incredibly good I couldn't believe it was blazer ammo.... I use blue dot powder because at the time it's about all I could find in a 4 pound jug and it meters horribly in a powder thrower but it gave me a reason to buy my first charge master and I like it also... Buy you a 10mm you won't regret having it....
Get a Glock 20. 75% of the time, mine lives in a chest rig, the remainder in an OWB. It is quite manageable. The slide/ barrel of the G 40 is noticeably longer than the G 20.
There are plenty of decent hard bulletts for the 9mm, 10mm and 44 that are out there I've tested some 9mm (in European loaded) 357 Sig, the current range master at my one club has tested 10mm and I've used hard cast in my 44 magnum. The brands mentioned in this post work.I am looking for some deep penetrating pistol bullets in .40 or .44. I've read that hard cast are best for penetration but which ones and what style?
Thanks, Justin
I don't think there's much that will take a 10mm and laugh it off....lolI don’t run very well any more. That’s why I want one.![]()
The 10mm loaded to full power is placing plenty of energy on target.I don't think there's much that will take a 10mm and laugh it off....lol
