If you’re referring to the FA hand tool, it won’t work with small primers without modifying the pin.

If it works for you, that’s great, I agree, it’s a fine tool. I bought one, tried it, wouldn’t work on my small primer cases. After seeing other reports that the pin was too large, I returned it.

The older ones had some problems but I've deprimed plenty of different small primer cases and never had an issue

I really like the Frankford one. Just make sure the primer catch is tight.

I have been using the Neil Jones for 30 years, not saying they are the best, just gets a lot of use.

Two step system in catching primer pockets that are loose, de prime with the Neil Jones, then hand prime with some kind of hand primer..

Mine was a gift and came with a .059" pin/rod.
