Dasher free bore

Hi

I had it written down here somewhere but have lost it!

I will be using 107MK and 105 Scenars..

What freebore will I need fora 6mm Dasher.

Its reamer time!

Hi i should have my new 6mm Dasher reamer as David Kiff has nearly finished it it will have a 271 no turn neck 243 freebore diameter and david advised a 120 thou freebore length to use the 107 to 115 gr sierra and the 105gr lapua.

I dont think Ill try the 115's.. but stick to 105-107's out of my Dasher!! Im most likely going a .268 neck... small amount of turning!!!

I am also from Australia.... The Dasher is finally making its way here in numbers!!!

AI, sorry for the late answer. First off I don't have one yet. But, from what the guys say, a throat length of 85 to 105 seems to be in the ideal range for those bullets. Richard Shatz's record 6 dasher used a .100 neck length,article on this web site). I believe he was using the 105/6 Clinch River bullets. Check out the article.
