Dasher Dome - 780 yd - shot #3 - egg down

DASHER DOME
Gold $$ Contributor
John Kruzan came over late this evening. We loaded
some 115's using my BENCH TOPPER portable
reloader stand. I called in a Pizza and we went over
and had supper at the STAGECOACH. Then we
went to the range just before sunset and conditions
were perfect for loooong range varmint whacking.
No wind, low humidity.
John warmed the drop port Viper by Tom Morley up
and he was on his game. Chuckie and Chico had to
be repainted and I had one egg left over from the
Griswold visit last weekend. I hung it at 780 yds and
back to the bench.
I took a sighter on Chuckie and hit within one inch of
my point-of-aim so over to the egg I went.

Shot #1 Just off judging from the dust off the berm

Shot#2 I held at 8 o'clock on the egg but again just off

Shot #3 I held dead center and touched the Jewell.
A half second later I was able to get back on
target in time to see the egg dislodged from it's
cradle and fall to the ground.

6 mm Dasher, Brux no taper, muzzle brake, 8 twist, 115 DTAC
Drop Port Diamondback--TOM MORLEY--

John Kruzan and I had an afternoon to remember.

this is allways good stuff, i love that,= Dasher Dome=(thats cool).
Is that a ST1000 stock? I'm in the process of having a dasher built right now, should be done by jan-feb..I havent decidied on a stock yet, i was thinking of just makeing my own from a peice a walnut since weight really does not matter too much..

I have some #9 shot in the butt of this stock.
The lead, no-taper barrel, and muzzle brake
adds enough weight to get back on target in
time to see impact.

Junebug (Don Grandstaff) came over the to Dasher Dome last week and
brought his Joel Kendrick Borden TPE, Terry Leonard carbon fiber stock,
6 mm Dasher shooting 107 SMK's and cleaned this egg rack
hitting 3 consecutive eggs at the 780 yd berm.
