Dasher brass to BrX

Just idle mind thinking:
Has anyone took say alpha dasher brass and run though a BrX sizer to change the angle to back and make usable BrX brass

What do you gain? Even if it worked it would require fire forming.

That’s why I’m asking, would it? The shoulder is already forward and the full length sizing would change the angle back. Normal when I make BrX brass it take the second firing to get sharpe angles. There again that is why I’m asking

I have won matches on the second firing. Fear not, want not.

The neck shoulder junction is .005 shorter in aol length on a Dasher vs the BRX. Thus your headspace will be an issue when you take the Dasher down from a 40º to a 30º for a BRX.

I've done it w some old Lapua Dasher formed cases, No problem . one pass thru the BRX die, Clean prime load shoot. mike in ct ps. every chamber is slightly different Try a few borrowed Dasher cases to be sure.

If you have one of the speedier generous sized chambers, it can require real fire form fitting. Failure to fire is the clue. mike
