CZ 600 Series!

I am quite optimistic on the new CZ 600 series. They compete with Savage at this price point, not with Blaser or Sako. I will have a chance to shoot one next week, so I will report back to you. Their guarantee of 0.75 moa with factory ammo for a 5-shot group means they raised the bar in the budget segment.

You might be surprised with the accuracy and all. The barrel switch and features are used by Blazer and some other top end European firearms and used around the world for hunting small, large and dangerous game.
I do like the CZ527, own more than one, but the new 600 series just might cause me to purchase a couple of them also. Like that barrel switch feature.

Not impressed, It may be very versatile but it's not designed for accuracy with a slide in barrel and a 2 piece bolt, and a aluminum receiver, to me its very gimmicky, I believe CZ just lost a large part of their market share, I will definitely miss the 527

Especially true about missing the 527. I have a couple a late friend smithed into super nice customs and they aren't going anywhere.
I was able to get my hands on one of those 7.62x39 actions (from the barrel recall) and a Hornet faced action. One is now a 6PPC that accounted for 55 prairie dog kills with 50 rounds of ammo. The other is a LW barrel chamber red in 17 Ackley Hornet. What's not to love about 20 grain bullets leaving the muzzle at 3500FPS ahead of 12 grains of powder?!

Im just buying any of the old ones I’ve always wanted, mostly the CZ 527s. I’ll let other be the guinea pig on these new 600 series. The thing I liked about the 527 series was the variety of cartridges and barrel lengths They offered more options than most, by far.
