CZ 527 value?

The Sunset Camo and Spring Camo were offered in the 2008 catalog. Along with the Varmint model in Kevlar and Laminate in 17 Rem, 204 and 223 and Walnut in 22H, 222, 223 & 7.62x39. See pics.

While I had my gun shop, I purchased my Sunset 22H in 2009 it's an amazing rifle. Also purchased one of the heavy 222 rifles in 2017 from a distributor that had bought the over run designated for Mexico.

Closed the shop in 2019 and went to work for Bushnell (briefly). While there I was told I could purchase at a discount direct from CZ and was given a contact name. I promptly contacted them and back and forth through emails, was told there were no 17 Hornet Varmints available at the time but they're on the way. So I inquired on availability of 17 H American or even just a Hornet action. Not available. A couple weeks later the contact let me know that all 3 of my interests were now available. So I bought all 3 :) Should have bought 3 of each. The price I paid would bring tears to your eyes.

The 17 H American stands quietly in the safe, unmolested. I intended to use it as a carry gun until I discovered they were discontinued.
The 17 H Varmint stock was swapped out for Boyd's laminate and has killed a zillion PD's.
The Hornet action wears a heavy barrel chambered in 22H only because I already had a reamer. It too wears a Boyd's.

The 527 is a fantastic little action and a joy to own.
