CZ 527 in 22 hornet scope problem

I bought a cz 527 in 22 hornet a few years back. The problem is that every time I shoot it, my hand always hits the scope. At first I had to put on a raised scope , because the bolt would hit the scope. The eye piece is 1 5/8" wide. Is there scope smaller than this. Thank you

The early 527's had a bolt handle that was less than desirable for scope clearance, later it was redesigned, You might have an early, if so, I believe James Calhoon sells the replacement

There are also aftermarket bolt handles that are even better.

I got mine (2 for 527 and 1 for 452) from a place in FL, can't remember the name but I'm sure Google can find it. As I remember they were in the $60-80 range.

I took a 4-1/2 grinder with a flap wheel to the bolt handle on mine. You can generally match the profile of the later style bold handle or the Calhoon version to gain the clearance needed. Touch it up with a little cold blue and you’ll be good to go.
