Can this trigger be modified as far as honing sear and working with spring tension? I have worked with the spring tension and the creep can be removed but it is still aroung 8lbs. Is there a better trigger on the market to replace this trigger with?

timney makes one for the 452. i don't know if it fits the 455. there about $80

I went to my local ACE hardware store and bought a lighter spring. I forget which number of spring it was. You can also "lengthen" the space the spring fits in by removing the nut and washer.
