You're right and I'm not bagging using the warranty as a tie breaker if quality is comparable - I'm bagging on the notion that you would rule out a top piece of glass because it doesn't have a lifetime warranty. I think Nightforce is a decent scope (although they recently discarded the only configuration I would consider in their lineup) and if you think it's comparable to some of the other $2K+ scopes out there, that's fine too. But not looking at a quality piece of equipment because it doesn't have a lifetime warranty is silly, IMO.
