Last week, while viewing my bank accounts, I noticed a couple of charges that I did not make. A couple of minutes later, I received an email from my bank's fraud department asking if I had made purchases A & B.
Anyway, card was shut down and funds were replaced. Typical PITA.
Then today, I received a letter from GRAF & SONS acknowledging their site had been hacked and customer info had been stolen, including card numbers, CCV#, addresses, emails and home addresses.
I suggest all members, using this site, double check their credit & debit accounts. Sorry for the bad news, but better safe than sorry. Willie
I cancel my card periodically a get a new one.
Lol, I end up being hacked at least once a yr too.I dont have to do that. Hackers or just some random jack ass gets me every year.
Graf & Sons has always been concerned about our customers safety and security. That is why we do not keep your credit card information with our website data or in our in-house database. It disappears from our records when you complete the e-commerce portion of your transaction.
Our website was recently the subject of a malicious code attack by unknown third parties. This was discovered on January 29, 2019 and security was restored within 1 day. As part of the research, it appears that this attack occurred on January 19, 2019. It appears that some customer files were affected and the malicious code captured certain credit card transactions from the e-commerce portion of the website. Customers that have possibly been affected have been notified by us. Because we do not retain credit card information, the attack was designed to capture the customer's first and last names, email address, mailing address and credit card information, including the credit card number, the expiration date, and the CVV code as the customer was entering their information.
We have implemented additional security measures designed to prevent a recurrence of such an incident and to protect the privacy of our valued customers and to prevent further unauthorized access. We are working closely with the applicable governmental officials to ensure the incident is properly addressed. We have reported this event to the FBI.
For more information regarding credit card security, please see the attachment.
Thank you,
Graf and Sons Team
That's a good idea, especially when traveling. I learned the hard way while on an elk trip, when my card was shut down. Called my banker and he opened it long enough to hit an ATM for enough cash to get home.We use small prepaid cards to make online purchases instead of our regular cards also get several of these when we travel to pay for gas and food.
That would have been THE LAST TIME he ever walked ANYWHERE!!Gave my card to the attendant and he walked in the back room with it.
Ya ordinarily it NEVER leaves my sight. Had my son in the truck headed to a Bass tournament and was multitasking in the store. No excuse really but it is what it is. Again, can't prove it but I know in my Gut, that guy got down on me.That would have been THE LAST TIME he ever walked ANYWHERE!!
I'll get cash from my Bank ATM then get more when I run out. My CCs never leave my hand OR sight.![]()
Good policy, my wife refuses to use a card at a restaurant, waiters-waitresses hate this though. I roll the dice I guess. That would have been THE LAST TIME he ever walked ANYWHERE!!

Don't ever let retailers "save" your credit card info. Just type it in each time. Some like to do it automatically. After you place and order, go to your "account" page and verify they didn't automatically saved it there.
