Folks should be as skeptical of the 100,000 "excess deaths" figure cited in the article as they are of the 200,000 Covid 19 deaths figure, but if true, would indicate a lot of avoidable misery was induced by lockdowns and mandatory masks.

An honest doctor will tell you the average mask does nothing to stop the spread of the virus, but might add 'what's the harm in wearing one?'. There's your answer... it emboldens the Fear and Panic community. But it's probably too late to do much about that...

It's not just people being afraid to seek medical care, routine or otherwise. The whole system was clogged up for many months, so even people seeking appointments, or were already scheduled for treatment, encountered delays. I know people who needed cancer treatments who were delayed weeks.

In many states, the declaration of a 'state of emergency' by the Governor (and subsequent renewals of the 'state of emergency') has effectively nullified the ability of the legislature(s) to do pretty much anything, so it is effectively one person rule in these states. Until the 'state of emergency' is allowed to expire, the duly elected legislature cannot modify the actions of the Governor...

Two dead in my County, one just last week 90 years old. The other was 83 early on, did they really die from the covid????
