couple 6br questions

1st what is heaviest bullet 1-14 will shoot.id like to try a broughton pre thread for savage and thats all ive seen made.
2nd when can i use remington brass? its not that i dont wana use lapua i wana use it as a yote gun and dont wana lose the good stuff. thanks

In my experience with my rifle, which has a 26" 14 twist barrel, 75 gr. Sierra Varminter HP is the heaviest bullet I am able to shoot. This bullet is shorter than a 65 gr. Hornady Vmax which also shoot extremely well in my rifle. I couldn't get the 75 gr. Vmax to stay on target.
As far as Remington brass, I like it as well as Lapua. In a competition setting Lapua has a reputation that is undeniable but for everyday use in an everyday hunting rifle I don't think you would notice a difference. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about opening up the flash holes in my Lapua to .080" and see how they shoot.
For shooting coyotes I don't think you can go wrong with the 65 gr. Vmax. I am impressed with this bullet.
