Counterfeit Mitutoyo Calipers

Purchased Mitutoyo on Amazon and found the set is fake. I called Mitutoyo helped verify and they said they can't stop it... some of the Mitutoyo sold on Amazon are real... anyway these fakes look good but are NOT real. Be careful.

Thanks for the heads up! That is disturbing that even calipers are being faked.

You can return them I'm certain, I've done it several times. I had a counterfeit item come from Amazon a couple weeks back. It was to be a Christmas gift for my daughter. Amazon refunded me the money, didn't ask me to send back the cheap fake, and suspended the seller.

We are trying to find the seller again. I actually went to the Mitutoyo Store on Amazon during my search but the item shipped from someone different.. it just says warehouse 2 on package.

Yep, just go to your Amazon orders find that one, click on Return or Replace Items and then tell them they are fake, which is why you are returning them. Done deal.

price is the first warning, but theres plenty of video on u-tube how to spot the fake. battery, box, instructions.

Best place to get the CORRECT battery is Grainger. thats a whole other hole to go down.

Were they accurate? Some of the Chinese knock offs are very good for the price.
