Cortina - Wheeler Interview

At 22;48 he said nothing you buy is "?" sound was bleeped out. I read his lips as "Perfect?"
Kinda strange IMO..Maybe the mic didnt pick up his voice.. Yes very informative and interesting.. Crazy so much is put into being able o poke a hole in a piece of paper.. People ask me all the time what do I spend some much $$ and time just to shoot a varmint.. They don't get it and I don't try to even explain..

I haven’t had time to watch the entire video, I have kinda skimmed through it, stopping on places that really interested me. Mainly in the firing pin/spring weight discussion and gluing in actions, because this translates well to the short range game.

This video is loaded with common sense. That is my impression.

Tonight I will watch the entire thing.

I noticed the same thing. Didn't know if he mentioned a specific brand and Erik
had to bleep it out.
Maybe @Alex Wheeler will clarify what he did say.

Thanks for posting this very interesting interview. Always liked Erik Cortina's videos, his style and of course, his proven expertise.

Even for a guy like me who is basically a recreational shooter and varmint / predator hunter shooting at modest distances, there was a wealth of information in this video. Hey, who doesn't want to get better and improve.

Shooting "one's" at thousand yards! Wow - these guys are "other worldly"! These guys truly are experts.

Couple of items I found amusing - Wheeler uses a bronze brush in cleaning. :) :):) - Not concerned with run out! :) - Testing and verifying assertions by results on target! :) :)- You have to work at becoming a better shooter, equipment alone won't get you there.! :) :):) - ES not used in turning! :)

Couple of items shocked me - Tuning at the distances you shoot. Many scopes do not hold zero. Gluing the action into the stock. The move is back to wood stocks (laminates).

Thanks again for posting this. If I was younger, I would be emailing Mr. Wheeler for a barrel.
