Bought mine new in stock from a dealer, but it took 6 months to get it back from Cooper after I sent the pos in to be repaired. They replaced both the barrel and the receiver. Nice wood though.

I have a question for any cooper owners out there any help would be appreciated I have an opportunity to get an cooper model 52 Jackson Hunter in 300 Win Mag, can anyone please tell me what they know about this particular rifle please???

Like the others have said, if you can find one that you like, buy it and avoid the wait. I custom ordered a couple, it takes about 6 months to a year but worth it.

Beautiful rifle. Is that a chrome moly barrel? Every Cooper I've seen has a stainless barrel.

Yes, chrome moly blued on both of those rifles.
The Jackson Game 220 Swift had to be special ordered with that 26" cm barrel and upgraded wood.
The Custom Classic 30-06 came with a blued cm barrel, but the wood was upgraded a couple grades.
