13yd test targets?
Yes it probably was me my initials look like a DC which looks looks like a 6. We were a beginning company and at first I insisted on testing every rifleI heard some rumors that Dan Cooper used to test fire and initial some of the early rifles. I have an early rifle that looks like it could have Dan Cooper's initials on it, but I can't be certain. Do any of you hard core/early Cooper buyers have a test target on it that you know is signed/initialed by Dan Cooper? Mine looks like a D6 or DG with the 6 or G dropped below the D, and connected, which could be a stylized C. I will see if I can post that part of the test target later.
Thanks,
Danny
You're right that they were misleading, since they were shot at approx. 47yds.

It’s far more complicated than thatAnd Dan got booted from the company for donating to the Obama campaign..
I stopped by Cooper Arms Early 2000's and they (then) shot the test targets at 36 yds, indoors, of course.I think someone mentioned they are shot at 47 yards. Kind of misleading if you ask me. At that distance, it better be one hole or there is a serious problem.

I think he may have had, like me, hopes that Obummer would rise to the occasion and provide a modern day bridge among the races. Low and behold, he became the great divider and a terrible chief exec.Remember, Dan Cooper donated a few thousand dollars to the Obama campaign.
