Brand new Forum member Mark Dalzell has created an excellent video showing an extreme long-range shooting session in the Nevada Desert. A 2'x3' steel target was placed at 1760 yards -- yep a full mile away. After a half-dozen ranging shots, Mark scored multiple hits -- and he did that with HSM factory ammo.
The video is very professional, with included latitude/longitude and range conditions. Mark even had a separate target camera, and he uses frame-in-frame edits, so you can see the hits on the 2'x3' target. You'll also get a kick out of the cool ZZ Top soundtrack.
NOTE: Mark also included, just for AccurateShooter.com, a personal audio clip. Mark talks about his equipment and the "rush" he had making hits at such long range.
We welcome Mark to our Shooters' Forum. He created a really nice video that will be appreciated by anyone who has shot beyond 1K, or who dreams about doing that someday.
