On Gunbroker, I have 1 in 10 dead beat buyers. Either dont pay, or want to pay with a credit card I cant take.

Sory for your truble. But thay is the world we live. Its a shame.I would say most of the folks on this site stright up go people. Too bad there will be a few low lifes. Tommy MoJust a little rant.
I posted a fair amount of goods for sale on here,at what I thought were very reasonable prices, which must have been true because I was inundated with responses. All went smoothly for most buyers except a few that I had to remind them of their commitment. It pays to look thru buyers feedback, as one of them did the same thing to another seller a few years back, committed to a sale, then had to be reminded a few weeks later, and ultimately didnt follow thru. I just dont understand, we are all in the same sport here, we all enjoy shooting and reloading, yet for the most part were strangers, and wouldn't recognize each other if we passed in the street. It's not that hard to just say " I changed my mind" , or , " I cannot afford it right now", rather than string someone along for a month before disappearing, and not responding to messages.
Rant over, I'll be more cautious, and communicate my expectations more clearly in future sales.
Same hereI usually pay with USPS m.o. so I do my best to get it in the mail the next day(after seller gives me an address) because we all know how snail mail is. Some of you have shipped to me, before my mo arrived. Rest seem to have item(s) ready to ship when mo arrives. I'm satisfied/happy either way and thanks to all I have had the PLEASURE to do business with.
That's a good idea, it probably don't cost much more if anything. . I like to give it my full attention, for example I'm getting ready for a match in two weeks and have plenty of things to do after work each night, so I just quit listing things until I get back so I can keep things moving along for the buyers. That way the wife doesn't figure out how much all this stuff costs.I've not been a seller on here, but have purchased several items. The way the post office is anymore i send all payments with tracking so the seller can see I'm not screwing around or having a case of buyer's remorse. One payment took almost two weeks to get from st louis area to Tennessee. Thankfully the seller was understanding and by tracking could see where the payment was. I finally contacted the post office and lo and behold, the payment started moving to seller. The seller was understanding and awesome to do business with. Tracking may help others in transactions also. Just some food for thought.
I think I've had a few of those as well, I know I have sold more things on here than what my history shows and I might be guilty on the feedback response. I know this last set of ads, I had a ton of responses, and I scrambled back to make sure I gave them the appropriate feedback, but in case I didnt I wish they would shoot me a message to remind me.Hate when the buyer doesn't even let you know that their purchase arrived until you ask them about it.
Tell you all is good and then don't leave feedback, after you did but yet their profile is filled with positive reviews.
This goes for major dollar purchases as well as minor ones
I was wondering if there was a thread on this topic, hadnt looked yet.And I would like to thank the forum boss for the "updated" description on this post.
Here I thought " Commentary on buyer and seller ethics" was a new sub-forum that I missed .
I even went looking for it on the home page, wondering if I missed something new.![]()
I had that happen as soon as I began advertising stuff on here.Just a little rant.
