I wish all transactions I've done had feed back left for them. Since I've only purchased and never backed out I don't see why one would not leave positive feed back.
All Good Info you have provided-- If there was no feedback I wouldnt buy anything here for over $25.00. It matters and it can be a little difficult to get at first. Feedback isnt perfect but its alot better than nothing.I've bought and sold many more items than I have feedback, but you get to a point of diminishing value. So I don't pester my buyers for feedback, I have plenty and they speak for themselves. All my transactions here have been very easy, my recipe is simple.
The selling side of things requires more work.
- If buying, be ready to pay for the item immediately after you receive payment instructions. That is all is expected from a buyer. You do that and you get an excellent rating. If the seller does not give you immediate feedback ask him for it, you have fulfilled all your duties. The rest its up to him.
- In your profile section disclose your real name and location. Anonymity benefits crooks. Paranoia is a disease that needs treatment.
Do not use this site to dump stuff that you abused and turned into junk on somebody else. You do this and all your feedback will be excellent. It's simple but not easy for some. Good communication is essential
- I always use pictures of the item I'm selling, not something like it.
- Always be truthful.
- Describe the item accurately, mention blemishes (no surprise is a good surprise for a buyer).
- Immediately after the buyer agrees to buy contact him, 1)thank him for buying, 2) send him your cell number and email.
- Be prepared to ship the item the same day and send buyer the tracking number.
- Pack the item well. Include the buyer's email so the buyer gets automatic notifications of the package's progress.
- If value is over $50 pay for insurance.
- If value is over $500 pay for signature delivery.
- Follow up on the day of delivery to verify receipt and ask if item was as described. If the answer isn't yes to both, ask what you can do to make it right? Then do it.
- If he says there is a problem with the item refer back to the ad. Either you omitted something from the ad that was relevant or the buyer read something into it that wasn't there. The resolution path is self evident.
Kindest regards,
Joe
