I find it helps with the mirage coming off the barrel lying with what I see in my spotting scope while trying to read conditions. Us old time knuckle draggers don't have the luxury of burning 5 shots down range in 15 sec. LOL
If I have good pit service, I'm 12-15 min. for 20 record shots.

It does look like it. I did find it interesting that AI did it that way. They certainly have the $$ to test.

Here you can see the design taking shape. Still waiting for the flat elastic band to show up. Then it will get cut to length and glued into the end clips.

I have tried everything in the past to keep the velcro stuck to the barrel and I haven't found anything that lasts any length of time at all except for apparently I bought the right velcro Once Upon a Time and my old Savage the velcro still stuck I'm just using the sticky stuff on the back. But I've tried every other kind of glue and it doesn't do anything they all only last a very short period of time

It appears that in the last year both CSS and CC have gone TU. I was looking for a replacement for my elastic mirage band, which has lost its elastic since the last time I used it.
