Cleaning Rod Holder

Almost done with a complete redo of my loading room (garage). As I start putting things back I've found myself with one predicament, where to put my 8 cleaning rods. Before I insulated and put sheetrock up I just placed 2 nails on exposed wall studs and used that as a holder for the rods. Now with finished walls, I don't want to do that. How do you store your cleaning rods?

I built a "stands in the corner" one out of 4" PVC pipe with a toilet flange (new one ;)) as the base with smaller 1/4" & 1/2" pvc pipes inside the 4" pipe to keep the rods seperated. Holds about 8 with ease.

I took 2 2 inch long sections of 4 inch in diameter pvc pipe and mounted those horizontly about 32 inches apart under a shelf. Drill a hole in one side of the pvc to fit a screwdriver thru and a small hole on the other side. Put a screw in the small hole and use the larger hole to drive the mounting screw into the wall studs

Lay the cleaning rods in the pvc bands sideways. By mounting under a shelf you dont lose storage space and this also avoids eating up floor space that way. We all need to maximum room for our "stuff"

I label the handles for the diameter of the rod - 22, 6mm, 30, etc - and put clear packing tape over that so the labels last much longer under the attack of the 15 things I am always using to figure out what cleans the best and easiest. Opinion varies daily
