Cleaning patches for 20 caliber?

I just finished up cleaning my 204. I have two different brands of patches the Lyman seems to be pretty loose in the bore and the other won't even go into the bore. Just wondering what brand of patches you guys like the best in your 20 caliber guns?

For .22 and .20's, I've found that the Pro Shot cotton 1-1/8" patches on a dedicated for-caliber spear-point jag works perfectly.

I buy them in packages of 1,000 pcs, works great for both bore sizes with one size patch for both.

In my experience, it depends more on the jag than the patch selected within reason.

I use Pro-Shot patches which are cotton flannel which I consider a must. As for size, I use Dewey jags, and it is quite easy and simple to size the jag to a patch for a given caliber to obtain an optimum fit. For me, an optimum fit is a firm fitting patch that will contact inside the grooves of the bore.

I usually buy 3 inch patches in bulk and cut all calibers as well!

3 inch patches work well at the end of cleaning too dry out the chamber wrapped around a bigger brush.

I have used 22 caliber patches if you spike them off center they will go down a 20 caliber bore with ease!
That's what I usually do too. But, I can't even get the patch down the barrel with my cut ones. Maybe I need a different jag.

I use proshot jags- always….corner punch or center punch- depending on barrel manufacture- all are not the same as on land / groove aspect- hence why I cut my own patches… huge difference in a 3/4” & 1-1/16” size patches

I do like the others have mentioned, 22 size patch with a smaller jag. 1 1/8" size patch. midway had them on sale some time back for $2.77 a 1000. that was too good to pass up.
