Cleaning fired cases

I don't clean my brass. Every rifle I own has it's designated brass. Just a quick wipe with solvent after shooting on the outer neck to remove carbon and a nylon brush on the inside. Deprime, clean primer pocket. Reload and shoot. Anneal every three firings.

Me!….shoot a couple shots in your new shiny fresh
“Cut” barrel with your shiny look what I have everyone pretty brass!… then take a cleaning patch to your chamber and show me how clean it is!…

It's very "clean" because my cases seal very good at the neck shoulder junction . But glad to hear I got to a honest TR Masters rating by doing it all wrong .

LOL…Lots of great shooters. Most don’t do any sort of wet cleaning process and some don’t even dry tumble in media. Shiny brass doesn’t win competitions and the sooner you learn this fact the better off you’ll be.

You mean I actually got to a Masters TR Rating by doing it all wrong ? Pushing for that HM at every meet I shoot in now , so maybe if I just throw my brass in the dirt and reload it , I'll get there . ( sarc )

Trust me, you really shouldn’t be bragging about Masters rating on this forum. HM sure, but there are probably more Masters on this forum than there are in the Quad at University of Michigan. You keep cleaning your brass all shiny, wet tumbling with SS pins, and the rest of us will have one less competitor to worry about taking home the hardware.
Also, let me know when you are going to conduct the 20-50 pc shoot off of your cleaned brass vs uncleaned. I can’t wait to hear the results.

If you want em clean like new use SS pins. Dont worry about the sky is falling case mouth peening guys, it takes seconds to debur a case mouth. I do it every loading anyway. You dont have to make a cookie cutter out of it, it just takes a quick twist
Duster, do pins work acceptably in a vibratory cleaner vs. a tumbler?? Tks

You have me confused with someone else about any comparison tests . Someone else mentioned doing that , but it wasn't me . But hey ; You are entitled to your overbearing insistence that "YOUR WAY" is the only way to do things . BTW : I don't use pins . Hard to be accurate posting when you're to busy being critical , isn't it ?
