If I didn't have two tumblers and enough media to outlast me I'd consider changing.skip the lymann, just add a little nufinish car polish...much cheaper and only one process

Mayo, the process you describe above after you have shot a match to prepare your brass for the next is nearly identical to the process I follow to prepare brass for all FOUR of our family’s F-Open rifles. I have a Lyman vibratory bowl that I’ll put brass about every 4th or 5th match. There is absolutely no need to clean brass on the inside other than to run a nylon brush in and out one time. As far as cleaning the outside of the brass, I (like JMayo if I can speak for you) subscribe to the “less is more” brass processing theory. Crazy cloth serves a great double purpose for my reloading now, it cleans the outside of the necks very well and acts as a great lube for full length sizing. I wipe the brass with a microfiber towel after sizing, then prime, power, pellet and shoot.I just finished 400. They came out of the ammo box they were out into after shooting the last match.
I cleaned necks as i put into the annealer. Then They go into mtm tray, get sprayed with one shot, sized & primer p cleaned, wiped with paper towel, Re primed then powder and bullet.
Put back into the ammo box. Ready and confident I'll be in the top 5 and maybe even win....
if i can keep the nut on the butt tight !

Where the magic happens !
You must not have ever shot any RL15 hahahaWhen gasses are sealed by/at the case neck, the remainder of the chamber doesn’t get dirty… at least mine don’t! I clean cases primarily to facilitate visual inspection for cracks…
It's very "clean" because my cases seal very good at the neck shoulder junction . But glad to hear I got to a honest TR Masters rating by doing it all wrong .Me!….shoot a couple shots in your new shiny fresh
“Cut” barrel with your shiny look what I have everyone pretty brass!… then take a cleaning patch to your chamber and show me how clean it is!…

You mean I actually got to a Masters TR Rating by doing it all wrong ? Pushing for that HM at every meet I shoot in now , so maybe if I just throw my brass in the dirt and reload it , I'll get there . ( sarc )LOL…Lots of great shooters. Most don’t do any sort of wet cleaning process and some don’t even dry tumble in media. Shiny brass doesn’t win competitions and the sooner you learn this fact the better off you’ll be.

Haha. Our rifles eat RL-15 as fast as I can feed them. That shit is dirty. You must not have ever shot any RL15 hahaha
Or many other dirty powders that soot your cases up.

Trust me, you really shouldn’t be bragging about Masters rating on this forum. HM sure, but there are probably more Masters on this forum than there are in the Quad at University of Michigan. You keep cleaning your brass all shiny, wet tumbling with SS pins, and the rest of us will have one less competitor to worry about taking home the hardware. You mean I actually got to a Masters TR Rating by doing it all wrong ? Duster, do pins work acceptably in a vibratory cleaner vs. a tumbler?? TksIf you want em clean like new use SS pins. Dont worry about the sky is falling case mouth peening guys, it takes seconds to debur a case mouth. I do it every loading anyway. You dont have to make a cookie cutter out of it, it just takes a quick twist
I dont think soDuster, do pins work acceptably in a vibratory cleaner vs. a tumbler?? Tks
The pins will stay on the bottom of the bowl… they’re too heavyI dont think so
You have me confused with someone else about any comparison tests . Someone else mentioned doing that , but it wasn't me . But hey ; You are entitled to your overbearing insistence that "YOUR WAY" is the only way to do things . BTW : I don't use pins . Hard to be accurate posting when you're to busy being critical , isn't it ?Trust me, you really shouldn’t be bragging about Masters rating on this forum. Also, let me know when you are going to conduct the 20-50 pc shoot off of your cleaned brass vs uncleaned. I can’t wait to hear the results.
