IF your talking about this site, Credit Card or send a check or money order. - Credit Card is pretty quick to get your upgrade status. (I Don't Use Pay-Pal either)

Normally, a reminder is sent automatically a couple days before the end of term.

And then, when you use the “upgrade membership” button, the upgrade should go through automatically within a few minutes.

However, something went wrong with PayPal’s notification system this afternoon.

Some recent transactions are showing as “queued”. However I’m not able to resend them so I will do these upgrades manually.

Hopefully the system will get restored soon.

FYI, the most recent GOLD upgrade went through normally within the last half-hour, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Not sure I agree with the fee's. However I did pay them. I have joined many forums with free advertisement. They have more ads for the non paying members. Hard to believe there are more hot rodders then shooters looking for information and sales.

Forum Boss: Your issue is that you are using Apple iCloud Private Relay. This essentially works like a VPN to mask identity and location. For security reasons, we are not allowing this now.

When using the site you can disable Private Relay in your Safari browser Settings.

As a security measure against criminal scammers we are now blocking VPN, Proxy, TOR, and Private Relay access to the Forum.

This has dramatically reduced the volume of scam activity and phishing PMs.

The main issue seems to be users of iPhone and iPads. Apple offers a "Private Proxy" function which apparently installs by default.

Please turn that off in your settings when using your iPhone. You should then have no problems. This "Private Relay" is a function of the Apple Safari browser.

If you are not using an Apple device, simply halt the VPN, and connect normally.

We understand this may inconvenience some users, but this change has massively reduced security concerns on the site. The bad guys almost universally use VPNs, Proxies, or Private Relay.
