You earn the classification that you shoot. If you shoot HM sores over 120 rounds, in the fullness of time, a card will appear in your mailbox marked "High Master."

The scores must be complete matches, however. If you shoot two Palmas and two 20 shot matches, the scores must meet HM level for all 130 rounds.

Just FYI: You can poke the NRA classification office with a stick all you want but I have discovered over the years they are not really the hold up in the classification distribution.
Prepare yourself for a shock, but sometimes the match officials take a few days (or insert your favorite unit of time here) to send in the paperwork and without said paperwork, the NRA CO has nothing to tell them about scores. I usually have mine done the night of the match and a few days after the scores have been posted and distributed, I send the paperwork to the NRA.
That said, you can look up your classification on-line and when it changes, the card usually appears a few days later.

If you are SURE the paperwork and the scores have been sent in, and the classification is not changing, then poke away.
