Changing Beer Brands

I ordered a Stella Artois Saturday for a Belgian-raised friend. It was his favorite beer you see… a lager with a 600-year history.

He took a sip, then winced and practically spit it out.

I then tried some. Yep, flat and weird tasting with kind of a nasty metallic chemical finish. Really, really BAD.

I was puzzled because I’d had Stellas in Europe and they were pretty good for a standard type. (I’m more of an IPA fan).

Went home, did some research and found out that Stella Artois is made in USA now by Anheuser Busch. That explains it…

I called the restaurant and told them they should warn customers. And sent an email to Anheuser Busch product support letting them know how bad their fake Stella is…

Now I’ll add another complaint about this Bud Lite “Trans in a Can” woke nonsense.

I like A good cold Yingers from time to time. Drank a lot of
St. Marys in glass one pounders. That was the beer we put on
the boat. Another favorite brewed just 3 miles from me is a good
Scottish Ale called "Rail Bender". I'm also known to knock down a
pint or to of Irish Porter. I like brews you can chew on.....:D

I had heard sometimes back that Michelob Ultra, another AB product, was the favorite of the local gay community. Looks like AB is branching out

Im gonna stick with Spotted Cow & LaBatts Blue! yep< Yeungling here also, son in law grew up just down the road from the original brewery, we went there for his bachelor party & toured the brewery! VERY COOL!!
