CFE BLK .221 Fireball???

Has anyone tried the CFE BLK in their .221 Fireball yet??????

Looking for results with a 40gr. bullet.......

I was just curious if anyone has tried it yet, being it`s new and all.....

I`m considering a .221 AI, and was hoping to see some positive results from this powder, just to be able to add it to the list of possibilities to try in this caliber....

I've tried it and am currently using it. It works great with 5 shot groups making a ragged hole at 100 yards. Only problem is that the extreme spread with my loads is normally in the 60s. I can't figure that out and I've tried everything.

That`s a bit of ES, but if the groups are solid then the results speak for themselves.

What weight bullet and speed are you getting????

Have you tried working up until you have some compression?

CFE Blk with the 40gr Varmageddon in my 221 Fireball is a good combination.
100 yards. Awesome on live critters as well.

I get better and more consistent results with a1680 and 40gr hornady. Intermediate to upper load with rem 7.5 primer. 221FB is awesome

I shot some nice groups yesterday with this new powder. Shooting better than rel7 for my newly chambered sako 461. 40gr bt
