CCI Stinger 22lr - 300 yards?

The highest end I'll go is SK LR in my CZ457 w/Bartlein barrel, which I typically only use for PRS competitions or 300-500 yard steel. Other than that, it's all SK standard, SK Rifle Match, or CCI SV. I can't justify the price of top tier ammo.

I keep a few boxes of Mini Mag HPs and Velocitors for the KIDD barreled 10/22 as it's hunting rifle. It also shoots the CCI SV and SK stuff very well, and it also loves Norma Tac.

None of the high velocity stuff is any good past 100 yards. Groups go to crap.

CCI standard velocity 40gr has a bullet drop of about 50 MOA at 300 yards. I won't be able to use holdovers with that much drop and loss of velocity without turning the elevation turret which I want to avoid (at least for this experiment). Is there a high velocity 22LR ammo up around 1600 FPS that anyone can recommend?

You’re going to have better luck staying subsonic.

22 bullets have a tough time in the transonic speed range.

Having said that, if you do have success with this please post your results.

Of the hundreds of people I know that shoot 22s regularly to 300 yards, there’s not a single one of them shooting high speed ammo.
