Cauterucio 6.5 VLD weights

Hi all,

I picked up a bulk box of Cauterucio 6.5mm 141 gr VLD bullets. I can't find any info on this specific weight, and I don't have a scale handy to figure out if the box is labeled accurately, of if they are actually 131 gr. My question is, did Cauterucio produce 141 gr vlds in 6.5 or was 131 the heaviest produced?

I load his 141.5 VLD's which weigh 141.4-141.5gr.

I figured you would come to the rescue...I have been enjoying the 141.5 VLD's immensely, thanks Bob!

Robin, glad to hear the 141.5 's are doing what they are supposed to do for you.

I believe this bullet along with it's custom dimensions and tapers, seems to make it shoot very well in most 6.5's. It appears its not as finicky to load tune as most VLD's.

Good Shooting.

I only made up a 131 gr for a shooter on a special order. I make 141.5, 120, 130, and
155 gr. in VLD. And in 10 cal tangent ogive I make 146, 141.5, 129, 119 gr. both tangent and VLD's are BT.

Mr. Cauterucio, thank you very much for your reply. I never stopped to think that the principal behind the bullet would reply on the subject, but seeing such sets the standard for customer service! Thank you very much.

Your bullets are in que for moly plating, and I look forward to trying them out!
