Came down with some symptoms late thurs day night and by Friday morning I was pretty rough. Quick test at work gave confirmation so they sent me home. Sweet, I thought I could get some loading done. Lots of .44spl to do with Trailboss and a few Skeeter loads. Plenty of .357mag wad cutters to try as well. Since my oldest is wanting to deer hunt this year I thought I'd let her use the AR10 in 243. Got some Hornady interlocks to fix up for it. So here's the not, I'm amazed how much energy it takes just to get up. Took me 30min just to get a cup of coffee this morning. At 4 this morning I walked out of the basement where I'm isolated and got extremely nauseated passed out and woke up from that thinking what the heck just happened. Trying to take walks when I can to stay moving but just can find the energy to put my bench together since it's modular. Time for another zinc pill and coffee. Later.

Same thing here last month. You need to take Quercetin with your Zinc. Good luck.

My son has it and being extremely tired is part of it, he too was isolated to the basement, after he retried from the fire service (paramedic) he started a lawn service so I mowed grass last week!! 1st job ... 5 acres! Now I'm tried but not from covid. Good luck to you on your recovery.

I mow as a side gig too so I understand.

I also had it, back in the spring. It really knocked me on my ass. I didn't have the energy to play on the computer let alone get up and walk around. Missed two weeks of work. My wife had it at the same time and wasn't nearly as affected.
Get well soon,
Gary

I have friends and relatives in both camps and these are not unintelligent folks--most all of them a lot smarter than me. I will share a very true story that has profoundly impacted me.

I'm from a very small (one stop light) town in Eastern North Carolina. They have a volunteer fire department and rescue squad. Five members of the rescue squad came down with Covid about 2 months ago. Two of them died and three recovered. You guessed it--the two that died had not been vaccinated and the three that recovered had been vaccinated. One of the deceased was also the Mayor. It was a huge blow to the town, and of course their families.

Folks have to make their own decisions, but I will say people that believe this whole deal is "fake" are likely deluding themselves.

Praying for your quick recovery and that this plague be lifted.

At this point the numbers are irrefutable. It makes me wonder what the "wait & see" group is still waiting to see. My entire family (except the kids) have been vaccinated. All except my brother that is, who is still "waiting to see". At his age, 69yo, I worry about the guy endlessly. The Delta variant has stacked the odds against the holdouts.

Stay safe everyone.

Hang in there man, here's to a speedy recovery. It sucks that we can't believe what on own govt tells us. I'm 71 and wasn't going to get the shot but I wanted to travel and live my life so I got the shots, so did my wife. We are traveling around the country and only wear a mask where it is mandatory. Each one of us need to make up our own minds as to what we do. Best of luck.

My condolences on the loss of a family member, and I hope you get well soon. It may be worth speaking to your physician about a monoclonal antibody infusion to help keep you from progressing. After you clear the infection, I would strongly consider the vaccine.
