No It has a slight oily film on them after resizing. I take about 10 of them and hold them in a clean rag and rub the bunch together. I have tried several aerosol types, and they are no where near as good. I have about 20 firings on some 6br brass and now they are getting a slight bolt click upon extraction. Maybe it's the lube. ;]How is it to get off the cases? Sticky?
^^^^^^^Imperial Die Wax or even better if you can find it, Ballistic Case Wax.
Both require just “a little dab to do you”… easily removed {unlike RCBS oily lube} and never a problem with hydrologic dents in case shoulders.
One tin will last most folks a lifetime…
Best case lube ive used is royal. Comes of easily and super slick. When imperial chattered in the die during forming royal did not. Have the tub, aerosol, and pump. Prefer pumpThis has been hashed over before, at least once I know of. What works and you like is the best. I have used imperial for all my rifle loading for years and it has worked well for me. But the last time this was discussed, Royal was mentioned several times with high marks. I got a jar to try it, and I found it seemed to size a little easier, smoother, is a bit thinner, I think body heat thins it a bit, and it sized very consistent just like everyone had said.
Now I'm a royal fan.
