Case 148 DEWC 12 BHN .358

That was a 1911 45 Wadcutter gun. 4.2 Bullseye, 200 Coated Cast SWC. I shot it slowfire one handed....

Don't want to sound like a newbie , been through one war Vith some bumpes and bruses , shot may weapons but this is the first time I ever heard of a 1911 45acp wadcutters gun. Had to look them up , owning a gun like that you better know how to shoot. Learned something new , l shoot the 70 series Government model in 45acp. as a carry the Colt New Agent , Came with CT Laser grips, fun gun to shoot . Pretty accurate , not in riflewomam league but hit what I'm aiming at , as long as its big. By your name , you must be into bench rest. My one and only benchrest gun is a Remington 700 in 308 Blueprinted M24 5R 11:27 twist RockCreek barrel , Jewell trigger . Just love shooting it for the last16 years. Nice talking " hard core"

I’ve dabbled in BR, but there’s no BR here so...I was primarily a HP SR shooter for years. Shot an M1A. Got Distinguished and Pres 100 along the way... been shooting Pistol on and off since 1983.

The M14 was a great weapon very accurate , that's the reason I went with a bolt action in 308 . In the warmer months 50°and above I'll shoot benchrest , don't like shooting in the cold. The range in my area are max. 200yards , my normal shooting is 3 ten shot groups at 200 averages .5 the rifle does most of the work. Cold weather I'll shoot indoors with a group of friends each week. That's when I started looking at cast bullets , 148 DEWC for my wheel guns and will try the 230 RN don't want any feed problems . Be Well.
