Looks like a work of artNo filler on this 1 carbon fiber edge fill primed and blocked with a dose of red candy for Mike @6BRA to hide the foam in the barrel channel I sprayed in some black and titanium gunmetal pearl before candy.

Thank you.Thats a light fill LRB, not a foam fill. No problem getting these, other than the normal McMillan lead time. McMillan calls this pattern "carbon ambush". Normally you see earth tones in the hunting stocks. But, they will use any colors you want. Out of all the ones I have ordered the red carbon ambush is the best looking and Brett did a great job on this one. When the new owners took over they stopped letting me order the foam filled LRB. I could probably get them to make me stocks with nothing in the shell forward of the action and pour in my own foam. Its not a difficult process but for some reason they dont want to do it. The foam fill went against common "knowledge" about stocks. Its not a stiff stock, at least in my mind it helps the front of the rifle come up under recoil and aids in positive compensation. We saw less climb on target in our ladders with them. Not many guys ordered them, but the ones that did have done well. Dave Way is one that has a foam fiberglass stock, its been exceptional.
Im building a rifle now that will be sprayed grey. It must be catching on?What's wrong with primer grey finish it's the new in colour . Look how many car manufacturers are using it
