Yup....problem with that kind of Quality is ...Im forever getting stuff scuffed and well just
plain used...Not abused...but you know...Your quality is too nice to use out in the sand out here
in Arizona....Id feel bad for getting it scuffed and dinged up....
Thats nicer than some of the top show cars that just get trailerd to the shows...( too clean to drive ) lol
Oh well guess id have to ship it back alot for touch-ups...

I thought I'd wrap up this thread with some pics of the barreled action in the stock.

I know someone else that has a @Bc'z-painted stock and he has been telling me how difficult it is to convey in photos what you're seeing when you old one in your hands. After unpackaging this and trying to photograph it - now I totally get it.

What's amazing to me is Brett has implemented essentially the very first thing I described to him when we first started talking: I wanted something that doesn't look overtly flashy when looking at it casually or in diffuse light, but pops / takes on an entirely different look and level of interest when in bright light. When I move this thing to sunlight it's like a light switch gets thrown and all these bright things show up. It's amazing.

Who'd have thunk that a smooth, glossy finish would provide more gripability than the "orange peel" surface that was on it originally. It makes handling this gun much easier.

I've got another stock showing up I'm going to use this technique on but in blue candy with varying ground colors over the titanium gunmetal.
