In an attempt to clean and organize my reloading bench I accidentally knocked the rack that holds my calipers off the bench. It hit the floor hard. Only 3 out of 7 survived unscathed.
My prized “shock resistant” Mitutoyo dial caliper ended up with the pointer facing parallel to the handle at .025 when closed. Other than sending it in for repair, does anyone know of a simple fix for this or is there one?
One more stupid mistake like this and I will own the whole set.
