I think i remember Brunos doing a free shipping thing some time through the year. Is this just wishful thinking or does it really happen??

It seems to me they just had something similar within the past two weeks. But that doesn't include waiving the Hazmat charge, Call them and ask.

Sign up to get on their e-mail list. I got great prices on barrels during one of their specials.....and the shipping was free.

They've not been good to us shooters since things got scarce, now that things are getting back in stock they are running all kinds of specials to get people to come back. I'm done, I'll do without a long time before I go back to Bruno.

I got a quote from them of $930. for 1000 pieces of 30-06 Lapua brass. The shipping from Brunos to western Pa. would be an additional $40......The $930. is the best I could find for the brass so far but the shipping hurts to think about...

Ever hear about costs of maintaining inventory? Speaking of Barrels alone, how much of his or the banks money do you thing Lester has in his inventory of 1000 barrels? You really think Lester should eat the interest costs that is incurred by using his revenue to maintain an inventory level on products unique to rifle competition just to please you. Real life fact : businesses cannot run without making a profit. Some of you whiners need to go back to school for economics 101, a course I had in jr. high.

I'm not whining and kept to facts. Your inventory example has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. Fact, there was no inventory because the recent times I'm referring no one had inventory...as soon as anything came in it was sold. I don't mind a guy making money but the fact is Bruno took advantage of his target market when he saw the opportunity. If you're alright with that, that's fine. I'm not.

It's like the guy who triples the price of water after a hurricane. This is America and he has that right, but I have the right to remember too.

I understand business VERY well, I have no issue with pricing. He has it and has a lot of it so he has earned the right to charge more since he does. My issue is simple If I can ship it to his address for $12 then why did he charge me $27? if the barrel was $480 and not $464 I wouldn't have cared at all, because it was up front. I don't like the idea of getting the extra on shipping feels like it's being sneaky.

Always call and ask for a shipping quote. Usually save a ton.

During Christmas/Holidays they at times extend free shipping. Last Christmas they also had a buy $100 worth of gift certificates for $95. Get creative with the gift certificates + free shipping and you can end up with a great deal.

I have been to a lot of shops, i like brunos because there down to earth people, and yes business is business, i had the opportunity to go there a year ago while in the area, it was a pleasant visit, they do the best they can.

brunos is a good honest business. yes, there are issues at times, but always they are consistent. I have no issues with them

I just received a email from Brunos 30 minutes ago stating free shipping on all Lapua Brass with some of the brass on sale. This is good through 8 AM Tuesday, July 5th MST.

I just had to box some electronics for shipment, it took my time to wrap and box it, print the labels, and it took $40 for the two heavy duty boxes to double box and protective packing materials. This doesn't count the actual shipping and insurance. An employees time is not free, boxes aren't free, packing material isn't free, the shipping isn't free.

The occasional free shipping is usually small packages and is either a loss leader or at best reaches a low profit margin.

Yes you are correct. But the employees time is your business and should be in the cost of the goods. and if your not adding the materials in to the cost it should be shipping and handling not just shipping as the invoice says. I am not complaining about the total cost just list everything as it is. don't say shipping costs XXXX if it doesn't. I ship stuff every day so I am very aware of the process
