brunos inventory question

hey all this is my first post to the forum. I have been lurking here for a few weeks and just purchased a savage F/TR to kill the time until i get all of my components assembled on a savage rb/lp target action for my first 6br. Just a quick question, on brunos website, if a barrel is listed does that mean that it is in stock? If not, any other leads on krieger 6mm 1-8 straight profile in stock? Thanks in advance and thanks for all that i have learned in the last few weeks.

The barrel is probably there, but sometimes it is easier to sell a barrel than keep the www inventory correct after a sale.

When I see something that Bruno shows on line that I need, I just give a call to make sure it is still in stock. Never a problem when I checked it out before ordering -- barrels, actions, stocks -- I have purchased a few of each.

On the other hand, I have called on one item to find that they just received a shipment of a better item that was not yet listed, so it cuts both ways and sometimes you just get lucky.

Sinclair also has some 6mm Kriegers; maybe what you want. Russ Haydon has some barrels and so does Ron Hoehn. If you order direct from Krieger,or most of the other quality producers) you can probably expect to wait 3-4 months. Bartlien wait is 14 weeks.

Bruno's website is not updated on a regular basis, so you need to call to make sure. FWIW, Lester keeps a TON of barrel's in stock, so chances are that he's got something that will work for you...

Thanks for the advice guys. Called brunos and the guy I spoke with actually put me on hold to open a new box that was not yet opened to help me out. Got lucky and my 1.25 straight 1/8 twist krieger is on the way. Thats great service in my book and they have just won a new customer.
